We always enjoy the food and service here. Their sauces are very flavorful and the quantities are huge - especially the large burrito. More then enough for two or another meal at home. I think it's an old Denny's restaurant so very casual, but excellent food. Looking forward to their opening in Benicia if the city every gives them all of the permits.
This place never disappoints, such friendly and quick service. The vibe is loud and exciting, with festive music and soccer on the TV. They have plenty of indoor seating, and outside patio seating. The food is pricy, but well worth it. I got my favorite, enchiladas de cameron, the shrimp are sautéed in a spicy sauce and are cooked perfectly. I love the fact that the shrimps are cleaned properly. The rice and beans is always perfect and the chips and salsa are awesome.
Best, freshest Mexican food you can get. Generous portions at very reasonable prices, can't wait to go back asap!
Still the best Mexican food in town, in our opinion. We look forward to the Benicia location opening up!
Ate here with family that lives in the area at their suggestion. I found the dishes to be plentiful and flavorful, I read some reviews that said the food isn't flavorful; it's not overly or heavily spiced as some chefs do to in Latin American dishes. I agree the only dish lacking is the guacamole. They try to stretch it by adding sour cream, when they should just use fresh Avocado only. That why I deducted a star. The food is Definitely a value!
This place has really great food. Very generous portions, and decent prices, plus if you pay in cash you can get a break on the bill, I think that's because the credit card companies charge. The deck has big heavy tables and chairs, with giant plants, not great for hanging out and having conversations around, and the chairs are too big for the tables and hard to move. The inside needs some updating but the quality of the food makes up for it. Check it out!
My favorite cultural food definitely leans towards Mexican or Spanish style foods. Rice, beans, and cheese...I'm always there for, throw in some salsa, tortillas and a margarita...its Party time! I had been wanting to go to Los Molecajetes for a while; decided to try the several food trucks they had around, but going g to a food truck doesn't give you the full experience. Our waiter made being put at the back of the restaurant a small pill to swallow since it wasn't just us who eventually got put there. Fortunately, you could hear the liveliness of the front half all the way into the banquet room. Getting back to the waiter...he was very accommodating and not hard on the eyes! I very much enjoyed my wet burrito, but next time;I will skip the lettuce...not so great on eating warm lettuce. Overall good eating...needed more Churros! Ciao for now!
